My husband told me about Amanda after seeing her at a work conference talking about NLP.\u00a0 I had never heard of NLP before. I wasn’t up for a counsellor, medication or anything. I had tried it all before and it wasn’t for me.\u00a0 My husband explained how it was different, so I thought what have I got to lose?\u00a0<\/p>

The day arrived. I was so nervous and cried all the way there, worrying about the emotion I was about to unlock yet again. Then Amanda opened the door and I was instantly put at ease. Her home was so welcoming and bright; the biscuits and tea were at the ready and even structured to look like a smiley face. I even noticed positive words written on the windows, which stuck in my mind. I felt at ease instantly, like we knew each other for years. It was such a calm and safe environment and I knew this was going to be different to anything I had tried before.\u00a0<\/p>

Amanda was so positive, upbeat and made me feel different to anyone else I had seen in the past. I can’t really explain how she did it, but I felt like I had a fresh start to rebuild myself and started to remember the inner me after so many years of becoming someone I didn’t like. Amanda genuinely cared, she was on hand anytime I needed to call, email, offered me different options to make me feel more comfortable, even if that meant walking around the garden and not giving any eye contact.\u00a0<\/p>

It was evident Amanda knew EXACTLY what to do and say in every situation. She had a different perspective and way of making me think. By the end of the sessions, I smiled and actually looked forward to going back. I think I only needed 4 one to one sessions in the end. I still can’t believe it. The things Amanda taught me about how to think, had completely changed the way I think of the world and I have even been using Amanda’s thoughts and techniques to help others. I haven’t felt the way I do now for so long. My smiles are\u00a0no longer a front. They are real!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
