I have always enjoyed connecting and communicating with people and previously spent many years in Business Development and Sales.<\/b> I am naturally outgoing and bring a positive energy with me in my work. However, it has not always been easy. At school I was not considered \u201cacademic\u201d and therefore became labelled at that level (primarily by myself I hasten to add).\u00a0 Taking on this thought at an early stage, stood me in good stead to never quite be good enough. I spent over 10 years struggling with chronic back pain, which in hindsight I now realise, was almost entirely down to my own destructive and negative thinking.<\/p>

Studying NLP has totally transformed the way I choose to think and communicate.<\/b> It is an understanding of how all our thoughts, words, feelings, behaviours and physical bodies are deeply interconnected. Flexible body = flexible mind. Change one and it affects the other. It is like being given the key to our inner world, turning it and then opening that door to freedom. I no longer have back issues and now want to help others unlock their thinking to do the same. Everyone deserves this gift and hence I want to share it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

And so Happy Bench Coaching was born out of my favourite place I like to go<\/b> – the \u2018Happy Bench\u2019 at the top of my garden. This is a place where I can sit quietly; gain perspective and clarity, on what might be holding my attention. It is a place I feel safe, calm and surrounded by nature – the kind of space I like to create for my clients. I walk away feeling more confident to handle what comes my way.<\/p>
